Careers at New York Patch Co.

We Don’t Just Hire. We Recruit Technicians.

New York’s police departments, fire companies, Fortune 500 firms, and Garment District fashion houses trust New York Patch Co. with their identity. We are looking for the few who understand why a 0.5mm registration error on a law enforcement patch is not acceptable.

What We Offer — and What We Don’t

New York Patch Co. does not offer ping pong tables or “culture decks.” We offer the discipline of manufacturing real, tangible product for clients who depend on precision — from FDNY-area fire companies ordering helmet patches to Manhattan corporate offices rolling out employee uniforms across 40 floors.

What we require:

  • Obsession with Craft.

You spot a misaligned merrow border before it reaches the heat press. You know the difference between 75% and 100% embroidery coverage by sight. If it is not right, you stop the run.

  • Local Knowledge.

You understand why a Midtown procurement officer has different expectations than a Brooklyn motorcycle club president. You know the Garment District is not a tourist attraction — it is where New York’s apparel infrastructure operates.

  • Production Speed.

Standard turnaround at CPNY is 7–10 business days. Rush orders compress that timeline. You deliver on deadline, every time, without compromising quality control.

The 3 Non-Negotiables

  1. The Inspection Standard

Every team member — from digitizing to shipping — is trained to inspect for thread tension, color accuracy, backing alignment, and trim quality. Every patch is checked against the approved design proof before it leaves the facility. If it does not match, it does not ship.

  2. The Five-Borough Mindset

New York Patch Co. serves Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island — plus nationwide. Each borough generates different orders: corporate logo patches from Financial District firms, chenille letterman patches from Queens high schools, PVC tactical patches for upstate law enforcement agencies. You need to understand the client behind the order.

  3. Straight Talk

We do not inflate lead times to look fast. We do not hide costs in “setup fees.” If a client’s artwork will not digitize cleanly at the size they requested, you tell them directly and offer the fix. Every quote from CPNY is honest, and every team member upholds that.

Our Manufacturing Environment

New York Patch Co. operates a production facility in New York equipped for embroidered, woven, PVC, leather, chenille, printed, sublimated, and bullion patch manufacturing. The facility runs multi-head embroidery machines, digital printing equipment, PVC molding stations, and a dedicated quality control area.

This is a manufacturing environment. Expect production floors, not open-plan offices. Expect thread dust, not espresso bars. The work is physical, precise, and deadline-driven.
