Embroidered Patches

Stitched on polyester and cotton twill with satin, fill, and run stitching, finished with a merrow border or a laser-cut border for custom shapes.

02

3D Embroidered Patches

Raised stitching built over a foam underlay for dimensional logos and lettering.

03

Woven Patches

Damask-woven threads for fine detail, small text, and intricate logos at a thinner profile than embroidery.

PVC Patches

Molded soft rubber in 2D and 3D relief, waterproof and abrasion-resistant for outdoor and tactical use.

Genuine and faux leather, laser-engraved or debossed for a premium finish.

Chenille Patches

Looped yarn in a raised varsity texture for letterman jackets and team apparel.

Embroidered or woven name strips and tapes for uniforms.

Detailed specifications, size options, and pricing live on each patch type page, including our embroidered patches and PVC patches pages. Every order moves through the same CPNY production workflow regardless of type, which keeps quality consistent across reorders.

Materials and Standards

Material selection determines patch durability, color accuracy, and feel. Our team uses commercial-grade thread, twill, and finishing materials matched to each patch type and end use.

Thread and color. We stitch with commercial polyester and rayon embroidery thread, including Madeira thread systems, and match colors to Pantone (PMS) references for brand-accurate results. The thread color chart documents available stock colors.

Base materials. Base materials include polyester twill, cotton twill, felt, satin, genuine and faux leather, and molded PVC. Material choice follows the patch type and the durability requirement of the order.

Backing materials. Finishing covers six backing options: iron-on heat-seal film, Velcro hook-and-loop, plain sew-on, peel-and-stick adhesive, magnetic, and button loop. Each backing suits a different application surface and garment type.

Quality control. Quality control runs at every production stage. Our team checks the digitized file and proof before production, inspects stitch density and color during the run, verifies cut and border quality at finishing, and completes a final inspection before packing.

Compliance. We enforce strict US-Standard Quality Control. For children’s items, we produce to CPSIA requirements covering lead and phthalate limits and tracking labels.

Accurate materials depend on accurate artwork, which is where in-house digitizing matters.

Digitizing and Design

Digitizing converts a logo or artwork into a stitch file that embroidery machines read. Our team digitizes every order in-house rather than outsourcing the step, which protects stitch quality, registration, and turnaround.

In-house digitizing is included free on every order. Keeping digitizing under one roof means the same team that maps the stitch path also runs production, so corrections happen fast and reorders stay identical to the original.

Accepted file formats. We accept vector and high-resolution raster artwork: AI, EPS, PDF, SVG, PSD, PNG, and JPG. Vector files reproduce most accurately, and our team recreates low-resolution logos at no cost. The patch design guide explains artwork preparation.

Proof and revision. Every order includes a free digital proof before production. We send the proof for review, adjust it based on your feedback, and start production only after you approve the final artwork. Revisions on the proof are free.

Once the proof is approved, production runs on a defined schedule.

Turnaround and Capacity

Standard production runs 7 to 10 business days after proof approval. Quote turnaround is free and returned within 1 hour, two hours at the maximum, during US business hours.

Order size ranges from a single piece to large recurring programs for uniform suppliers and agencies. No minimum order applies, so a prototype and a bulk run follow the same process. For a deadline-driven order, call our New York production team to confirm a schedule before you place it.

Location and Contact

Our team operates from a real NYC office with US-based account management and support staff. Customers reach the same people who handle digitizing, production, and shipping, with no overseas call routing or time-zone delay.
